About C.V. Georgewill & Co.

The Law Firm was originally founded by the Late Collins Victor Georgewill Esq fondly remembered as C.V. during the 20th Century, in the early 90s as C.V. Georgewill & Co. (OTONYE CHAMBERS) situate at his residential abode at No.21 Captain Amagala Street, Port Harcourt Town. Subsequently he relocated the Firm to a rented 3 Bedroom Flat at No.8 Harold Wilson Drive, Borikiri, Port Harcourt. In the 21st Century, the Firm was relocated to a 4 Bedroom Flat Apartment set up on a landed property owned by his father Late Chief-Elect Victor Anthony Georgewill fondly remembered as Daddy at No.6 Accra Street, Port Harcourt which said building also doubled as his Late Father’s residential, business and tenants’ apartment building. About this time the founder passed on in the year 2001.

From 2001 till 2019, the Firm remained in comatose until it was registered afresh with the Corporate Affairs Commission in May 2019 by Collins Ipalibo Georgewill, Esq (his only begotten son) as Sole Proprietor of C.V. Georgewill & Co. (C.I.G. Law Chambers) stating No.6 Accra Street as its registered place of business, being the last known address preceding the demise of Late C.V. Georgewill Esq.

However, a lot of renovation and remodeling of the structure needed to be done and so while the building at No.6 Accra Street remained under reconstruction, renovation and remodeling, the Firm was relocated to No.16 Isiokpo Street D/Line in May 2019 till October 2019 and later No. 34 Emekuku Street, D/Line, Port Harcourt from October 2019 till June 2023 with Collins I. Georgewill Esq carrying on the professional legacy as Lead Partner of the Firm.

On 13/6/2023, the Firm resumed business at its new office address set up at C.V. Georgewill Estate, Plot 13 Walter Akpana Layout, off Kala/Rumuokwuta Road, Mile 5, Port Harcourt where it presently abides on the landed property of the Founder himself.
